Join Saxophonist Eli Hershiser for a 2-hour jazz workshop deep-dive into the Great American Songbook. This course is open to all instruments and all levels and recommended for students with some jazz ensemble experience.
Wednesdays starting January 21st, 8-10pm

Learn theory online in real time from the comfort of your home. Every Saturday for 12 weeks, $465 for 12 sessions.
Sessions are recorded so if you miss one you will be able to catch up.
Saturdays starting January 17th, 11AM - 12PM

The voice is the most direct connection between your musical brain and expression – which is why every instrumentalist benefits from vocal training. This 8-week workshop starting January 20th will deepen your musicianship through voice work and performance practice. Bring your instrument along!
Tuesdays starting January 20th, 5-7pm

Ever felt lost when someone mentions "clave" or struggle to lock into a Second Line groove? This 12-week workshop is for all musicians and vocalists who want to master the essential rhythmic patterns that define contemporary music – from Charleston to polyrhythms. Rhythm is the foundation of everything we play and sing. Bring your instrument along!
Sundays 1-3pm (starting Jan 18) or Thursdays 9-11pm (starting Jan 21)

Play in an intimate jazz trio with world-class bassist Sean Conly or another of our world class Bass Instructors. This exclusive format pairs just one pianist and one guitarist per session for maximum playing time and personalized attention. Explore essential repertoire, develop your improvisational voice, and master the interplay that defines great trio playing. Audition video required to match skill levels.

Trio 2 Starting Wednesday 1/21 4-6pm

Ready to deepen your skills, lead the band, and own your voice? This 8-week intensive takes you from technique to performance with a charismatic vocalist who studied with jazz legend Mark Murphy. Each session includes a pianist, the final 2 sessions feature a full band, and you'll perform live for an audience on May 3rd. Master breath control, phrasing, improvisation, and what it takes to confidently lead a rhythm section.
Sundays 2-4pm, March 1 – April 26 (performance May 3rd)

Join us for a free monthly improvisation class with the legendary Patience Higgins, offered in collaboration with New York Music Institute!
