Imagine waking up each morning in a stunning Tuscan farmhouse and vineyard, spending your days immersed in jazz studies with world-class faculty, and your evenings sharing gourmet meals, wine tastings, and evening jam sessions under the Italian sky. Week 1 · Instrumentalists & Vocalists
June 7 – 13, 2026
Led by internationally acclaimed faculty Marc Mommaas, Kenny Wessel, and Paolo Benedettini, this week is centered on instrumental jazz — with ensemble sessions, masterclasses, and private lessons. Skilled vocalists with a strong background in jazz theory and harmony are also warmly welcome.

Week 2 · Vocalists & Instrumentalists
June 14 – 20, 2026
Led by the extraordinary vocalist Michelle Walker, alongside Kenny Wessel and Paolo Benedettini, accompanied by a live rhythm section of faculty and students. This week is centered on the human voice — scat vocabulary, song analysis, aural memory, and performance development. Instrumentalists who want to learn to play jazz standards and accompany singers are encouraged to join.

The Setting
Classes are held at Agriturismo La Pineta, a working farm and vineyard in the heart of Tuscany — owned by the family of NYJW co-founder Marco Chelo. Private rooms, a swimming pool, organic wines, and a chef who accommodates all dietary needs.
